Kathryn Iris Hanna, 83, Defiance, passed away on January 17, 2012, in Mercy Defiance Hospital, Defiance.

She was born on July 15, 1928, the daughter of Elmer and Thurza (Reider) Hanna in Defiance. Kathryn worked as a private secretary at Owens Ilinois. She was a member of the Eastern Star.

Kathryn is survived by brothers, Vaughn of Defiance and Russel of Indiana; and a sister, Dorphai Hanna of Defiance.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Keith and Lidon Hanna.

Visitation will be held Saturday, January 21, 2012, from 10 a.m.-noon at the Hanenkrath-Clevenger-Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2012, at noon at the funeral home with Rev. Eric Peltz officiating. Burial will take place in the Sherwood Cemetery, Sherwood, Ohio.
