Sarah Jane Hoover, 39, of Perrysburg, passed away on January 20, 2012, at the Perrysburg Care and Rehabilitation Center, Perrysburg, Ohio.

She was born on April 24, 1972, to Thomas and Marilyn (Warncke) Hoover at Defiance, Ohio.

Sarah is survived by her mother and stepfather, Marilyn and Charles Ankney of Paulding, Ohio; brothers, Mike (Karen) Hoover of Springfield, Va., David Hoover of Defiance and John (Jane Sharp) Hoover of Defiance; sister, Sharon Hoover of Perrysburg, twin sister, Sandra (Steve) Carroll of Walbridge, Ohio; nephews, Ian Hoover and Sean Carroll; niece, Kira Carroll; special friends, Cheryl Lauer, Jon White, Mike (Patty) Thompson and Smokey.

She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Hoover; grandparents; cousin, Jimmy Warncke; and three uncles, LeRoy and Fred Warncke and Leo Hoover.

Visitation will be held today, January 23, 2012, from 2-8 p.m. at Hanenkrath-Clevenger-Schaffer Funeral Home Inc., Defiance, Ohio. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2012, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home, with Rev. Bradford Scott officiating. Burial will take place in the Sherman Cemetery, Paulding County.

Memorials are suggested to the Humane Society of Greater Toledo, or Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Toledo, Ohio.
